Pancakes has always been my favorite breakfast and evening snack option. But didn’t try the mini version of pancakes. Here at “The pancake story”, we get mini pancakes which are smaller than palm size. They even serve waffles, crepes, savory crepes and hot and cold beverages.
It is located in the 7th main, 80ft road, Koramangala 1st block, Bangalore. It has outlets all over India ,but its the first outlet in Bangalore. The seating arrangement is quite good and spacious, one thing i personally loved is their choice of music. Okay so now lets talk about some pancakes.
1. Red velvet rush: I firstly tried the all time favorite red velvet mini pancake, which looked so good. It has cream cheese and white chocolate topped with chocolate crispies on the red velvet base pancake.
2. Lotus Biscoff: This is my personal favorite apart from red velvet. It had a lotus biscoff spread on the basic mini pancakes. The spread is made of different type of biscuits. It gives a very good texture, and taste. You can feel the crunch of the biscuits.
3. Kinder Joy mini pancakes: So this must be for the kids i guess :D, it had chocolate, white chocolate sauce, some kinder joy chocolate, a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some chocolate crispies.
4. Oreo Obsession Waffle: This has a basic waffle topped with white and dark chocolate with oreo crumbles. The waffles were quite good. But the filling was quite less.
5. Nasty Nutella Waffle: Again the same basic waffles are used topped with only nutella. I liked this one more.
6. Signature waffle: This one is a bit on the heavier side. It had caramel, chocolate sauce, chocolate sprinklers, nutty chocolate balls and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I personally Didn’t Like this that much.
7. Vegizza Crepe: I didn’t like this at all. It just had a pizza sauce spread with big pieces of lettuce, tomato and olive.
8. Lemon Iced Tea: It wasn’t too cold but it tasted good and was very refreshing.
9. Biscoff shake: The lotus biscoff spread is added to the milkshake giving it a biscuit flavored taste. It was serverd in a glass bottle.
10. Hot chocolate: I wish the hot chocolate was steaming hot and tasted a bit more sweeter. Again average in taste.
11. Strawberry and cream: As the name suggests ,this dessert had fresh cream and strawberries. This combination was really yum with layers of cream and pieces of strawberry.
Overall, I liked all the mini pancakes prepared here, waffles were good too, but not an option for savory crepes. The presentation was simple. Very clean and maintained properly. Service was quick too. Would recommend to try the different types of mini pancakes.
